The House of Representatives, Is It Racist?

| Wednesday, November 4, 2009

The Politico reported yesterday that all current House Ethics investigations are being directed at African-American lawmakers, which not surprisingly has drawn the ire of the Congressional black caucus. Some of the more notable lawmakers facing ethics probes are Maxine Waters and Laura Richardson, to name a few. Currently, there are no House ethics probes being directed at white lawmakers.

For the blacks who would raise the calls of "racist" in response to this, I'd like to point out who it is who runs the House. If there is any racism here, (and I'm not convinced that there is), it's being shown by Democrats, not Republicans. After all, this is the House of Representative run by Nancy Pelosi and Stennie Hoyer. Liberals have made it their staple over the years to accuse conservatives of racism, sexism, etc. when they are doing it themselves over and over again! Remember what they did to Palin in the last election? What about the vicious attacks leveled at Justice Clarence Thomas of being a sexual predator? The number of racist and sexist remarks uttered by Democrats is simply unbelievable. Yet, you'll usually find them on their high horse accusing conservatives of those things.

As for the probes themselves, I'm honestly not sure. It could be racism, or it could just be we have a bunch of big city Democrats being nailed on ethics violations.(that in itself isn't very surprising) What do you think? Is it racism, or is it just a coincidence? Leave a comment by clicking on the box at the top right of this post.
I look forward to hearing from you.

God bless you, and God bless America.
