Fist Pump
Arizona signed its controversial immigration bill into law this week. Within a day or so, the main-stream media began running a story saying that illegal immigrants were leaving Arizona. Uh, DUH!! That's the point is it not?
Texas, Maryland, and Georgia have all voiced support towards crafting an immigration bill of their own similar to Arizona's. Meanwhile, Obama is fuming.

Issue of the Month
Immigration
Illegal immigration boils down to a single issue. Its about votes. Both parties have been courting the Hispanic vote for years, and as such, they've refused to pass any bill that actually does something about illegal immigration. Arizona finally got tired of this, and passed a bill of their own that actually DOES SOMETHING. We can't have that, can we! A state actually does what the federal government was supposed to be doing all these years, and they get slammed for it.
This is what 'amnesty' is about also. The heart of the issue isn't about the 'well-being' of the illegals. Its about votes for leftist politicians. If the illegals were 70-80% Republican, do you think the Democrats would be so interested in making them citizens?
Also, for those crying 'racist' at Arizona, this bill is supported by conservatives, liberals, blacks and whites, and by young people! Over 70% of the entire population supports it. If that wasn't enough, 60% of the national population supports the bill as well. Wow. Look at all the racists we have out there!!

Pro-illegal activists threatened to boycott Arizona products because of the immigration bill. One of the items they planned on boycotting was Arizona Iced Tea. The problem? Arizona tea is based in New York, not Arizona.

Top News Story the Media Says Isn't News
Puerto Rico Democracy Act.
Most of the media ignored this, but yesterday Beck picked it up.
Basically, this bill would set up a rigged voting system that would force Puerto Rico into an unfair elective process. The process is slanted to make statehood the most appealing option.
That means votes, and judging from what we've seen in Puerto Rico, it means Democrat votes, which will turn into Democrat congressional seats.





What Can I Do?
Contact your congressional leaders. Attend tea parties near you. Never stop praying for this country. We will triumph, but we cannot afford give up! We have everything to lose, and nothing to gain if we do. Take the time to get involved. Make a difference. America will rise from the ashes.

Let's Go Over This Real Slow

Many in the media are touting this arrest of the so-called "Christian militia group" as proof that Islam and Christianity aren't really all that different. After all, both have a few extremists nuts here and there, but overall they're both peaceful.
I cannot tell you how tired I am of hearing this drivel.
First of all, the people who claim this conveniently leave out that there might be a so-called "Christian" terror attack every 5 years or so, while Muslim terrorist attacks occur almost every week, if not more.
Some may try to tell you that Timothy McVeigh was a Christian, and then use that as an example of Christian terrorism. You wanna know who propagated that falsehood? Louis Farrakhan. In the aftermath of 9/11, he used that claim as a defense for his own religion. The sad part is that the truth is so easily discovered, yet many today still attempt to use this failed argument. Timothy McVeigh himself said that, "Science is my religion". Leave it to Farrakhan to deduce "Christian" out of that.
We could argue further over the different attacks and plots that have occurred on both sides, but let's get down to the heart of the matter.

The difference is in the beliefs of the separate faiths, not in the actions of people who supposedly adhere to it.
The word "Christian" by definition means a Christ follower, or one like Christ. Would Jesus condone murdering police officers? No. Would Jesus condone blowing up innocent children as a way to protest government? Everything Jesus did was an act of love, and clearly, what this militia group was planning had nothing to do with it. They can call themselves Christians all they want to, but their actions were anything but Christ-like. Jesus lived His life, and He killed no one.
On the other hand, let's look at Muhummad. Can you see him killing innocent people and raping small children? Oh wait...he did that. Can you see him creating a religion that is fueled by hate and a lust for conquest? Oh wait...he did that too. Can you see him creating a religion that viciously oppresses women and homosexuals? Oh wait...he did that too!
Can you see him writing this?"

Surah 9:29: PICKTHAL: "Fight against such of those who have been given the Scripture (Christians & Jews) as believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, and forbid not that which Allah hath forbidden by His messenger, and follow not the Religion of Truth, until they pay the tribute readily, being brought low.
Oh wait, he did that too.

You wanna compare Christianity and Islam? Look at the 2 founders.
Don't even try to tell me they're the same.

Black History Month is RACIST!

Yes that's what I said.
Black history month is nothing more than an attempt to concentrate on a particular ethnic group and elevate them above all the others. True civil rights is about equal treatment, not preferential treatment! (A nice long discourse on the stupidity of affirmative action would go quite nicely here.)
Sadly, I think many in the civil rights movement aren't interested in that. They're more interested in living off of the past, and jamming their policies down our throats to such a point that REVERSE discrimination is now a serious problem.

Its the left who tries to divide us into various groups based upon our ethnicity. Discrimination based on race was what the civil rights movement set out to stop. Now, the left and the new leaders of the civil rights movement are doing the very thing their cause originally set out to stop. Its ironic, isn't it?
We don't need a black history month, an hispanic history month, or a white history month. What we need, is an American history month.

Conservatives, 40%, Libs, 20%. Are You Paying attention GOP??

Today, Gallup released a groundbreaking new poll that reported 40% of Americans consider themselves conservative, and 20% call themselves liberal. Moderates took the middle with 36%.
Despite this, we currently have a president with Marixist views, and a Congress run by the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. These people aren't even moderates, they're full-blown leftists!!

The reason they are in power is two-fold. We as Americans needed to do more. We needed to get out there and promote conservative values, and most importantly, we needed to vote. In many cases, that didn't happen in 2008, and we are now paying dearly for it. The good news is that in many ways we as conservatives are finally getting our act together. Through tea parties, town hall meetings, etc. we are making our voice heard.
What we now have to do is translate these ideals and values into election results. To do that, we need candidates who run their campaigns on conservative values. The Gallup poll numbers back up this premise! If the Republican party wants to regain power, it needs to realize this: A conservative GOP is what will be successful. We don't need a "hip-hop" party, as Michael Steele put it, and we surely don't need a moderate GOP.

For those who say the Republican Party should be more moderate, WHERE WERE YOU IN THE LAST ELECTION?? John McCain was the personification of the "moderate" candidate, and he got his butt kicked. Yet somehow we get these idiotic news stories about how Republicans need to appeal to the moderates and the fence sitters. That was what we did in the last election, and it didn't work!
The Republican Party leadership needs to wake up, and get in line with the American people on this. We don't want moderates, liberals, or marxists, we want conservatives!! Then, and only then, will the Republican party be doing things right.

NY Times Cites Hitler's stimulus as support for Obama's.

The New York Times isn't known for posting many tasteful articles, but they've taken their knack for bad journalism to a new low. Back in April, David Leonhart, who writes for the New York Times business column, had this to say about Hitler and Nazism:
In the summer of 1933, just as they will do on Thursday, heads of government and their finance ministers met in London to talk about a global economic crisis. They accomplished little and went home to battle the crisis in their own ways.
More than any other country, Germany--Nazi Germany--then set out on a serious stimulus program. The government built up the military, expanded the autobahn, put up stadiums for the 1936 Berlin Olympics and built monuments to the Nazi Party across Munich and Berlin.
The economic benefits of this vast works program never flowed to most workers, because fascism doesn't look kindly on collective bargaining. But Germany did escape the Great Depression faster than other countries. Corporate profits boomed, and unemployment sank (and not because of slave labor, which didn't become widespread until later). Harold James, an economic historian, says that the young liberal economists studying under John Maynard Keynes in the 1930s began to debate whether Hitler had solved unemployment.

He then went on make this brilliant statement:

"Here in the United States, many people are understandably wondering whether the $800 billion stimulus program will make much of a difference. They want to know: Does stimulus work? Fortunately, this is one economic question that’s been answered pretty clearly in the last century. Yes, stimulus works. "


In essence, the NYT essentially cited the so-called success of Hitler's stimulus plan as support for that of Obama's . What's ironic is that its the liberals who have falsely accused those on the right of racism, anti-semitism, (Ann Coulter ring a bell?) and now we find them turning to the Third Reich for support of their plans.
Nice double-standard Mr. Leonhart. What will you think of next?

Obama and the Cambridge Police Have Met Before

Some may wonder why Barrack Obama, who by his own admission didn't have "all the facts", decided to say that the Cambridge police acted "stupidly" in their arrest of Henry Louis Gates Jr. I stumbled across this on Twitter, and simply put...its fascinating. I won't judge the man, but it seems our president has had past dealings with this very same Cambridge police department.

This is from World Net Daily:

President Obama, who targeted the Cambridge, Mass., police department with his comment that one of its officers acted "stupidly" in the arrest of a black man, has a history with the department dating from his college years to as recently as the launch of his presidential campaign.

According to the Somerville Times in 2007, as a Harvard Law School student, Obama got parking tickets during 1989-1991 from the Cambridge Police Department that he left unpaid until just weeks before he announced his bid for the presidency.

"In other words, as a practicing lawyer in Chicago, he allowed these tickets and penalties to remain unpaid; as an Illinois state senator he allowed these tickets and fines to remain unpaid; and as a United States senator he allowed these almost-two-decade-old signs of his disdain for the law to remain unpaid," commented John LeBoutillier on Newsmax.com.

The Washington Post said two years ago that the tickets included parking without a proper permit and parking in a bus stop.

The Associated Press reported in 2007 that Obama's "healthy stack" of parking tickets was finally paid, including late fees, "two weeks before he officially launched his presidential campaign."

Said Jen Psaki, spokeswoman for Obama's campaign during his race to the White House, "He didn't owe that much and what he did owe, he paid. … Many people have parking tickets and late fees."

The White House press office did not respond to a request for a comment

Independence Day...lest we forget.

On July 4, 1776, 56 men placed their signature on the Declaration of Independence, knowing that in doing so their lives would be in jeopardy. They could no longer live the way they used to, for they were now considered traitors to the king of England. John Hancock, in a heroic gesture, signed his name first, in such a way that there could be no mistake who's signature it was.
The boldness and the bravery of both its signers and its authors is one of the greatest examples of patriotism ever. It laid the foundation for the American civilization as we know it.
Now 233 years later, this document has not lost its value.


IN CONGRESS, July 4, 1776

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.


Still here? Great! It is interesting to note how similar their situation is to ours. They faced tyranny from an oppressive despotic regime, and now we, 233 years later, are dealing with a similar threat. Will we rise to the occasion, and take back our country, or will we remain in our bonds of oppression, lulled into inaction by the forces of evil?

The choice is yours.
