Urgent Rally Outside Mary Landrieu's Office Tomorrow.

| Monday, December 21, 2009

This is a repost of an email Gene Mills with Louisiana Family Forum sent out earlier today. Check it out, and be there if you can! It only takes one vote to stop this. Let's put all the pressure we can bring to bear to convince Senator Landrieu to stop supporting Obamacare:

Tomorrow, we will physically deliver one last letter to Senator Mary Landrieu asking her to reconsider her support for President Obama's health care plan that will force every American to buy government approved health care insurance which will fund abortion.

Only one vote is needed to STOP this so-called health care plan that will raise the cost of health care for families by as much as 106 percent, raise taxes and push millions of Americans who are presently insured at their place of employment into the government health care exchange.

Louisiana opposes this government takeover, and the polls agree!

Thousands of citizens have tried unsuccessfully to reach Senator Landrieu by phone. We must be heard! Join me and hundreds of other citizens in sending a message loud and clear, Tuesday at noon in front of Mary Landrieu's office in downtown Baton Rouge on the corner of North 7th Street and Florida Street, across from the Old Post Office.

Bring your signs and help send a clear message to Senator Landrieu that we want her to stop this terrible health care bill that will force every American to support Planned Parenthood in the killing of unborn children with their tax dollars, saddle families with higher insurance premiums, raise our taxes and deny our parents and grandparents the essential health care they need.

When: Tuesday, 12:00 noon

Where: Florida Street and North 7th Street, across from the Main Post Office downtown

What: A Call to Senator Mary Landrieu to NOT become the 60th vote for the government takeover of our health care.

Sincerely,

Gene Mills

Do We Have a Moral Obligation to Bankrupt America?

| Wednesday, November 11, 2009
We can debate Obamacare until we're blue in the face, but in reality, the truth is fairly obvious.
We are currently facing the bankruptcy of Medicare and Social Security, 2 government programs that as is usual with government programs, became impossible to adequately fund. So what is the solution put forward by the liberals in Congress? Let's make a LARGER government program to fix the previous two. This is their solution to everything! More money, more taxes, and inevitably, more government control. Forget about reforming the last 2 programs, let's just throw them away and make an even bigger one! The timing of the bill is pretty idiotic as well. Our economy isn't exactly booming right now, and we are continuing to field massive deficits every year. However, that doesn't seem to stop the liberals from trying to pass a bill that will add trillions of dollars of added debt onto our already struggling economy, not to mention putting many in the medical field out of work.

Of course, liberals try to defend this by citing how we have a "moral obligation" to pay for other people's health insurance. Do we also have a moral obligation to destroy the America we know and love?? That, is what all this will lead to. If this bill passes, we will have lost a huge chunk of our freedom and individual liberty, and no amount of "free healthcare" will be able to make up for it.

God bless you and God bless America
